What I Do

How I Can Help

A few situations when it might be worth getting in touch.

01

When something is difficult to communicate.

You are not sure what to show

The photographs never quite come together

The website and the social feeds look disconnected

What makes you good is hard to put into words

A brand, a company, a place, an inn, a shop, a person. The value is there, but it is not reaching anyone.

When something valuable is difficult to communicate, I help shape it into a clear visual story through photography, film and web.

We do not have to begin with the camera. We can begin by deciding what is worth showing.

02

When you want to keep the atmosphere of a place.

Hotels, inns and ryokan

Architecture, interiors and shops

Restaurants and food

Workshops, local communities and nature

Photographing a building well, or a dish well, is sometimes not enough.

I photograph and film not only the place itself, but also the people, light, movement and atmosphere surrounding it.

This is how I approach hospitality, architecture and food photography in Japan.

03

When a person’s work deserves to be documented.

Craftspeople and makers

Business owners and artists

Local communities and cultural projects

International cooperation and NPOs

What someone says in an interview is rarely the whole of them.

I document people through their work, everyday life and relationships — not only through what they say, but through how they live.

This can take the form of documentary photography, a short documentary film, or both.

04

When a brand looks different everywhere you find it.

There is an Instagram account

There are products

There are photographs

There is a website

Everything exists, but none of it feels like the same place.

When photography, film and web feel disconnected, I can bring them together into one consistent visual identity.

The website is one way of doing that. Based in Kumamoto, I design and build in Framer, so the images made for a project carry straight through to the site.

05

When you want to keep the way your family is right now.

Family photography

Children and Shichi-Go-San

Maternity and newborn

Couples and anniversaries

I photograph families not only for milestones, but also to preserve the everyday details that may one day become important memories.

The house you live in now, the street you always walk, the way a child moves, the distance between people who know each other well.

This is closer to documentary and lifestyle photography than to a portrait studio. Sessions can take place at home, outdoors, or somewhere that already means something to you.

06

When you do not yet know what to make.

You are not sure whether you need a film

You are not sure whether you need photographs

You are not sure whether the website should change

You are not sure what to say at all

You do not need to know whether you need photography, film or a new website. We can begin by identifying what needs to be communicated.

It is fine to get in touch before anything has been decided.
